Nordic Art Today is a multifaceted long-term collaborative project of art professionals from Nordic countries and Northwest Russia. The goal of the project is to acquaint a wide audience and the local art community of St. Petersburg and the region with critical artistic approach to developments and problems of the modern society in Northern Europe by presenting the best examples of the latest Nordic art. The project organizers intend to create a professional network of curators, artists and art operators from the Northwest Russia and Nordic countries. Nordic Art Today will last for several years (2010-2015) and include seminars and presentations, international exhibitions of contemporary art, researches and a publishing component.
